Saturday (9/5/20)

 The rain struck the tin roof, as it fell from the dark clouds above. The cold had crept into the room slowly as if moving from one corner to the next. Reaching, my arm extends toward the flame. Seeking the warmth it offers.The flame is bright and the sound of the burning logs crackling bring peace to my ears.
